You’ll find one or more charging points in almost all our parking facilities. So, you can top up your battery while you park. -
Convenient locations
Most of our car parks are at central locations in cities, close to shopping centres, theatres and other points of interest. This means you can easily charge your car while you’re out and about. -
No special card required
Our EV charging points are easy to use, and they accept cards from most providers. So you don’t need an extra charging card to charge your EV at Q-Park.
Do you want to be sure there’s a parking space for you at your final destination? Then pre-book your space online. Your number plate is your access ticket, so you can skip the payment machine. Note: you cannot pre-book an EV charging point.

How does driving in and out of the car park work with number plate recognition?
When you pre-book your parking space, you enter your vehicle number plate. When you drive up to the car park barrier to enter or leave, our system recognises your number plate and opens the barrier for you. That’s all there is to it. You don’t have to do anything else.

Can I access the car park before my pre-booked time?
No, unfortunately, you cannot enter the car park earlier.

Can I drive in and out of the car park as often as I wish?
Yes, if you have pre-booked your parking space, you can drive in and out of the car park as often as you wish until the end of your time slot.

Can I combine multiple pre-bookings?
No, it’s not possible to combine pre-bookings which overlap or start as soon as a previous pre-booking ends. Each pre-booking is recognised independently and your total parking time is tallied against the pre-booking you used to enter the car park.

Can I always park in the same space in the car park?
There will always be a space available for you. However, we cannot keep a particular parking space vacant just for you.

Can I change the vehicle number plate for my pre-booking?
Yes, you can easily change your vehicle number plate up to 1 hour before your arrival time, using the link in the confirmation e-mail. Click ‘Change my vehicle number plate’ in the confirmation e-mail you have received.

Will there definitely be a parking space available for me?
Yes, if you pre-book online you can be certain that a parking space will be available for you when you arrive.

Can I change my pre-booking?
You cannot amend a pre-booking, but you can cancel it by clicking on the cancellation link in the confirmation e-mail. You can then make a new pre-booking with the new details.

Is it possible to reserve a parking space several months in advance?
Yes, you can pre-book your parking space up to 365 days before the date of your arrival.

Is it possible to choose a specific parking space in a car park?
We do not allocate numbered spaces. You can park in any space you want in the car park.

Is it possible to pay for parking when I leave the car park?
No. Because you pre-booked your parking space, you paid for your parking online before you arrived at the car park.

Can I cancel my pre-booking?
Yes, there is a link at the bottom of your pre-booking confirmation e-mail to use if you need to cancel your booking. You can cancel your pre-booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your pre-booking. If you selected cancellation insurance when you pre-booked, you can cancel up to one hour before the start time of your pre-booking.

Can I pre-book a parking space for a motorbike, van, lorry or camper van?
No. Pre-booking is only available for light vehicles

Can I leave the car park after my booked time?
Yes, you may stay parked for longer than the scheduled end time of your booking. In that case, we will charge you for the extra parking time at the regular rate for that specific car park. We will charge you using the same payment method you used for your pre-booking.

Can I leave before the end of my pre-booked time?
Yes, however, there is no refund available for the unused parking time.

If I have a problem at the car park, who can I contact?
If you have a problem at the car park, you can contact a parking host at any time using the call buttons (intercom) located on the entry and exit barriers and on the payment machines.

Is there a special entrance for customers who have pre-booked online?
No. You access the car park in the same way as other customers, but because you have pre-booked, even if the sign indicates the car park is full, your parking space is guaranteed. At certain times, large numbers of visitors arrive at a car park at more or less the same time, so please allow enough time to actually reach the entrance barrier. Q-Park cannot be held responsible for any time you spend waiting to reach the entrance barrier.
