Smart at convenient parking at P+R car parks
Planning to spend some time in Antwerp for shopping, leisure or for work, then Q-Park’s P+R car parks are a convenient and cheaper option for you. Simply continue your journey to the city centre quickly by tram, bus or bicycle.
Help keep the city clean and attractive
P+R stands for ‘Park and Ride’. When we park just outside the centre and travel further using public transport, we help keep the city clean and attractive.
Good for the environment and your wallet
Using the P+R is more environmentally friendly: you drive fewer kilometres with your car and use public transport, so that’s a win-win when it comes to CO2 emissions. At the same time, you save on parking charges and don’t have to drive in the busy city centre.
So, it’s a smart and sustainable way to travel, and certainly worth trying!
Trams depart from the Antwerpen-Berchem stop about every 10 minutes to take you to the Antwerpen Meir metro stop. You’ll be in Antwerp’s biggest and best shopping street within 20 minutes of leaving Antwerp-Berchem station. So, leave your car at Q-Park and discover Antwerp on foot or by public transport.
Check www.delijn.be for the exact timetable.
Driving in and out of a car park using your number plate
With a pre-booking, you can drive in and out of the car park with your number plate. You enter your number plate while booking. When you drive up to the barrier, the camera will scan your number plate and then open the barrier so you can drive in without taking a ticket.
Arriving earlier or leaving later
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to enter the car park before the time on your pre-booking. If you leave later, then you must pay the extra parking charge at the payment machine or at barrier (cards only). For more information, see our FAQ page.
When you pre-book your parking space, you enter your vehicle number plate. When you drive up to the car park barrier to enter or leave, our system recognises your number plate and opens the barrier for you. That’s all there is to it. You don’t have to do anything else.

No. You access the car park in the same way as other customers, but because you have pre-booked, even if the sign indicates the car park is full, your parking space is guaranteed. At certain times, large numbers of visitors arrive at a car park at more or less the same time, so please allow enough time to actually reach the entrance barrier. Q-Park cannot be held responsible for any time you spend waiting to reach the entrance barrier.
