If you’re an architecture fan, you must see the imposing St. Charles Borromeo Church. Antwerp’s Jesuits built this beautiful Baroque church between 1615 and 1621. It is now the splendour of Antwerp – a true example of Baroque church architecture. The imposing facade is just a prelude to the lavish decorations inside the church.
In addition to faith and history, music also plays an important role in this church today. A musicians’ mass is held every Sunday and on all religious holidays. To find out which musicians are gracing the mass, check the calendar on the Artiestenfonds website.
